If you can see a sculpture in your mind's eye, but have been unable to find it anywhere - describe it to Marilyn and perhaps your dream can become reality. Marilyn earned her degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Painting, from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Still, sculpting has always been her real love. |
She studied sculpture at the Sculpture Center in Austin Texas under the mentorship of Jon Formo |
In recent years, Marilyn has taught classes in Sculpture as well as Life Drawing and Oil Painting, through the University of Texas Informal ClassesOriginal works by Marilyn available in both Bronze and Clay. |
